My grandfather Claude Bray, left. Along with his brothers Raymond and Wilson Bray. All were boat builders at The Rice Marine Railway, Reedville. Currently Jennings Boat Yard.
The Bray family has been living on the Northern Neck for over a century and many are still here today. I lived in Richmond, Baltimore, San Francisco, New York City and Northern Virginia. I have over 30 years of marketing experience and been lucky enough to have worked at some of the top ad agencies in the world like Y&R, Chiat/Day, and my own place, SmithGifford. I was fortunate to have experienced life around the country while dealing with high pressure deadlines and the craziness of raising a family. No place ever felt right until we made the Northern Neck our forever home.
My husband and I purchased the Reedville Marine Railway and have lovingly preserved it for future generations.
